Occhio

Occhio in Italy means eye. The goal to choose this name for the brand is to show the affection of evil. The brand mission is “Wear Occhio to be safe from negative energies” because in Iranian and many other cultures, evil eye used as repellent of badness and negative energies. I was asked photographs for their print and digital advertising. To translate the brand story in rich visuals, I eliminated any background noise, simplified, and limited compositional elements. As white colour in Iranian culture means protecting from harm, and works very well with colorful objects with creating delightful contrast, I considered it as a background to grab more audience’s attention to the products.
